Serves as the key leader adding pastoral support, administrative energy and structure to support the worship ministry, vision, and values of Calvary Baptist. The Worship Pastor works in cooperation with the Lead Pastor. He serves as the primary administrator of all Sunday morning operations essential for the efficient and effective functioning of the Sunday Gathering (including live stream, systems, worship volunteers, media volunteers, sound technicians, lighting, and heating related to the Sunday morning gatherings. Additionally, he focuses on developing and preparing the production of music and media for Sunday gatherings. This includes leading the worship gathering as needed and, if so gifted, media/slide design, video editing, videography and social media.
The Dalles is located in Wasco County, central Oregon just over an hour east of Portland. We enjoy over 300 days of sunshine in one of the most beautiful places on planet earth. We are known for our orchards and our world class outdoor recreation. From fishing and rafting on the Deschutes to kite surfing on the Columbia or skiing and snowboarding on Mt Hood, hiking, hunting, mountain biking... if it's outdoor recreation we have it.
