Assistant Pastor/Youth
New Work Family Worship Center in Liberty, Texas is seeking a candidate to fill an associate pastor position with a focus on youth. We are looking for a candidate who has a passion to help aid in leading and facilitating the spiritual growth of the body of Christ with an emphasis on engaging and growing the youth of the congregation.
This position will assist the founding pastor with various visitation and pulpit duties which may include preaching and teaching.
The candidate should feel led by God to this type of ministry and this position. The person interested in this position should have clear and effective communication skills, they should have a heart for people of all ages and should have biblical leadership skills. It is imperative that the person interested in this position understand and support the leadership of the founding pastor in harmony and unity with the possibility of being able to help oversee and lead other areas of church ministry. What you will be doing -
Teaching and preaching occasionally and as needed.
Helping to lead the congregation, especially the youth, in spiritual growth.
Aiding other areas of the church ministry as needed.
Assist in leading worship services as needed.
Helping to produce and plan out church youth events and ministry.
Do visitation of sick and shut-ins as needed.

Clear and effective communication skills.
Compensation –
The compensation for this position will be negotiable based on the experience of the applicant. Depending on the financial need of the applicant, this could be considered a full-time or part-time compensated position. This will be discussed in detail with the applicant during the interview process.
Liberty, Texas Area –
Liberty, Texas is half-way between Houston and Beaumont on State Highway 90. It is the county seat for Liberty County.
