Executive Director - Christian Non-Profit

 

Introduction: GOAL’s vision is to continue to be a premiere Christian organization that globally impacts the challenges of addiction and the wholeness of recovery. GOAL offers extensive quality prevention workshops and programs to faith-communities, parish clergy and laity leadership with it's main emphasis being Lancaster County. It's mission is to educate, train and empower communities while addressing the challenges of recovery from addiction.  Faith-based community outreach, governement and non-profit inter-agency and ministrerial cooperation are part of the fabric of GOAL Project.

 

Board Expectations The board expects its Executive Director to lead GOAL Project toward measurable excellence, with particular emphasis as follows:

  • Lead Fundraising Efforts
  • Implement An Ongoing Strategic Planning Process
  • Strengthen Operational and Fiscal Performance
  • Development of a Strong Staff Team
  • Assure Continued Organizational Emphasis on Congregational Outreach and the Strategic Plan

 


The Executive Director will be a liaison for the mission and vision for GOAL Project and be responsibile for upholding the organizational values and mission. The Executive Director will be a respected leader with the ability to develop and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, while always upholding the highest standards including GOAL Project's values and non-denominational Christian emphasis. Applicants will have proven and verifiable experience in and the knowledge of the disease of addiction. Applicants are required to pass a full background check and obtain FBI, PA State and Child Abuse Clearance prior to hire.

Please Note: Master Degree Required. This position requires experience in leadership in the non-profit sector.
