Jr. Web Developer

This position will be responsible for assisting in all web development and deployment of all email marketing communications from final creative to post deployment analysis. This is a junior level position; senior level developers need not apply. This position requires an entrepreneurial attitude and the desire to work whenever the need is greatest.

Essential Functions:

• Assist in Web Development and Email creation using HTML/CSS/.NET.
  
• Helps to maintain current websites as well as assisting in creating new websites and web related content.
  
• Assist in executing email marketing strategies, including the campaign development within Responsys, optimization and QA.
  
• Builds and modifies email landing pages; QA testing of landing pages in order to optimize response.
  
• Ensure all email campaigns are developed and deployed on time and with high quality.
  
• Works day to day with email marketing applications (Responsys) ' prepares and modifies HTML email messages, imports data and validates distribution list, creates list queries.
  
• Works directly with the creative team; provides feedback on website design and email design templates, assists in HTML template creation and modifications, updates HTML coding as needed.
  
• Assist in managing the tracking, measurement and reporting of campaign results.
  
• Contribute to writing/developing/editing content for various online advertising mediums.
  
• Ability to take direction and manage various projects.

  Experience - External:
  REQUIRED:
  
  • Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Marketing, or 1-3 years professional experience in a related industry.
    
  • Proficiency with HTML (Visual Studio, .NET, C# skill is a big plus or must be willing to learn.
    
  • CSS knowledge also required for email development and general Web development.
    
  • Proficient in current HTML standards and aware of the differences between all the HTML version standards as adopted by the W3C, as well as future W3C standards, which are constantly being developed.
    
  • Beginning to Intermediate knowledge of SQL Server or other databases and IIS.
    
  • Ability to hand-code HTML and DHTML/JavaScript.
    
  • Can use common development tools such as Visual Studio. NET and Adobe Creative Suite proficiently.
    
  • Copywriting skills are a plus. Ability to write content for email/websites and proof with detail.
    
  • Knowledge/experience with Responsys is a plus.
    
  • Additional software proficiency pluses include Adobe Suite, Dreamweaver and SQL.
    
  • Ability to manage several projects at once and possess excellent time management skills.
