GROUP PROGRAM DIRECTORS NEEDED – Work from Home!
AHLI, a leading Christian education and homestay organization in PA is looking for Christian Group Program Directors in PA, MD, DE, central FL, and within a 1 hr radius of Boston, MA and Los Angeles, CA areas.
This unique and contractual position offers qualified Christian candidates to become self-employed, work from a home office and have flexible hours. Ideal candidates need to be self-motivated, have experience working in cross-cultural environments, be organized, work well with children ages 8 through college, be able to delegate, meet deadlines and work within pre-established budgets. Previous experience with international homestay group programs is preferred. Please describe this experience in your cover letter when applying.
The ideal candidates will have an established network of homestay families to draw from and strong ties to churches and other Christian organizations in their local areas to recruit additional homestay families.
Responsibilities include: recruiting, orienting and screening Christian host families for placement of international students to participate in short term group programs from 1 week to 2 months. Duties include executing an established group program within an established budget, reserving educational facilities for ELL classes and activities, hiring and training your own subcontractors, arranging group activities and logistics, coordinating billing and invoicing through AHLI, conflict resolution, liaison and the ability to obtain evaluations for the continued success of the group program.

AHLI was founded by Marvin and Ruth Powers and became an official Non-profit 501C3 Corporation in 1992. AHLI has been in business for 25 years. AHLI provides international students with an opportunity to experience the love of Christ while they stay in the homes of warm, caring Christian host families. International students arrive in the USA with a tentative itinerary prepared by AHLI and you, the Group Director. These itineraries can include, cultural trips, activities, leadership experiences and high school immersion opportunities within your home state. The Group Director will then make all the necessary arrangements and reservations for directing the group program. We offer training and access to all necessary on-line programs for each Group Director. Group Directors are contracted and paid through AHLI, they are not employees and do not have health insurance benefits. Group Directors work within the state where they live and they are self-employed on a part-time basis.
