Sales Coordinator Job Description                                    Townhall Media, Arlington, VA

 

The Sales Coordinator will work in the Townhall Media office in Arlington, VA and report directly to the Director of Sales.  The overall objective of this position is to support the Sales Director, Deputy Sales Director, and Sales team in accomplishing their revenue goals.  The day to day responsibilities will generally be broken down in the following categories:

 

Prospecting Program Manager-- 35%

  • Identifying prospects
  • Distributing prospects
  • Managing follow-up/accountability
  • Follow News, legislation, client activities to help develop pitches for sales team

Project Management-- 30%

  • Help sales team complete RFP's
  • Develop presentation assets for the team
  • Coordinate Media Kit revisions as needed
  • Native Ad Campaign Management
  • CPA Campaign Management

Marketing/Strategy-- 20%

  • Develop new strategies to market our properties/products/capabilites
  • Assist sales team with sales pitch strategy/messaging
  • Help sales team analyze reports and strategize renewal business
  • Develop program of regular communication w/ clients/prospects

Coordination-- 15%

  • Manage sales resources/training/tools
  • Assist with client meeting prep/follow up
  • Weekly Sales Meeting coordination
  • General Administration
  • Cleaning up and Organizing Salesforce

Sales Resource-- 10%

  • Learn the ins and outs of the sales program and be a resource to the sales team in any way necessary to proactively support sales efforts
