The Vanderbloemen Search Group has been retained by Dave Ramsey's company - Ramsey Solutions - to conduct the search for the Leadership Personality. We conducted their search for Christian Voice to the Church last year, are currently conducting theirYouth Personality search, and are honored to partner with them again in their search for a Leadership Personality.
After losing everything, Dave Ramsey and his wife, Sharon, went on a quest to find out how money really works. They wanted to know how they could gain control of it and how they could have confidence in handling it. He came to realize that his money problems, worries, and shortages largely began and ended with the person in the mirror. He went back to his first love, real estate, to eat and to get out of debt. Along the way, he began another path – the path of helping others, literally millions of others, take the same quest to the mirror.
Dave Ramsey formed Ramsey Solutions in 1992 to counsel people hurting from the results of financial stress. He’s paid the "stupid tax" (mistakes with dollar signs on the end), and his hope is that others won’t have to make the same mistakes he did. He wrote
the book, Financial Peace, based on all that he and Sharon learned and began selling it out of his car. With the help of a friend, he started a local radio call-in show called The Money Game, now nationally syndicated as The Dave Ramsey Show.

Ramsey Solutions is searching for a person with a very particular set of skills who feels called to become one of the faces of leadership for their organization. Ramsey Solutions is on a mission to bring awareness, aspiration, motivation, and instruction to individuals seeking to find purpose and passion in their life and lead others toward that same purpose and passion.
The Leadership Personality is a multi-faceted position, as the person must be a gifted communicator among multi-platforms. They must be a dynamic speaker and effective communicator, as their primary role will be building a platform that people trust and seek for instruction. This will include being comfortable writing and communicating via multi-platforms that may include: live speaking engagements, books, blogs, videos, radio, and podcasts. This person can expect to teach often in a variety of settings, sizes, and locations. The successful candidate should be available and prepared for frequent evening and weekend speaking engagements.
The Leadership Personality should have a very good understanding and strong foundation in all of the Leadership principles that Ramsey Solutions teaches and lives by through EntreLeadership. They will already be established as a thought-leader with credentialed expertise in the leadership, business, entrepreneurial, career consulting, and coaching fields. The Leadership Personality will have the heart of a teacher, as they will build relationships in order to become a trusted advisor and brand to individuals who seek to be better leaders. The Leadership Personality should already have a proven track record of leading people well and some level of credibility in this space.
