Our direct client is seeking candidates for a Project Manager role. This individual will initially lead a Next Gen project to help upgrade the Microsoft NAV system and also help implement Studio Enterprise, since they are looking to replace their financial
donor system. This is a Christian organization. Therefore, candidates must be “spiritually mature Christians who are faithful in their church attendance.”
The purpose of this job is to assist the Project Management Office Manager in initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing all projects utilizing the best practice in all knowledge areas of the project management development cycle to accomplish
the overall vision of this faith-based organization.
This PM will be responsible, at a high level, for:
- Scope Management
- Vendor Management
- Budget Management
- Schedule Management
- Communication Management
- Stakeholder Expectations
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the project plan by analyzing data, working with project team and researching processes. This includes – establishing project goals and objectives, identifying scope, developing a detailed project schedule, analyzing risks and contingency
plans, managing quality, assigning resources appropriately, monitoring the training plan and managing budget when established
- Communicate effectively and timely to the project team
- Ensure project expectations are managed and all tasks are completed as planned and within budget
- Measure actual performance against project plan and make adjustments consistent with plan objectives
- Remain current on project management methodologies to proactively provide expertise resolving project questions and concerns
Skills & Experience:
- 7 or more years of Project Management experience
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
- Experience in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Word
- Expertise in project management methodologies and tools
- Knowledge of Visio preferred
- Ability to manage and direct large complex projects
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
- Ability to maintain an eye for detail even in high pressure situations
- Ability to successfully lead a team and handle conflict resolution
- Experience with Serenic Navigator and/or M/S NAV (ERP) & Studio Enterprise (CRM) preferred, but not required
- Emphasis on Scope Management, Vendor Management, Budget Management, Schedule Management, Communication Management, Stakeholder Management, & Change Management
