Job Description:

Regent University’s motto is “Christian Leadership to Change the World.” In addition to this position’s dedicated commitment to this motto, it is also responsible for generating and managing prospective student leads for the all graduate level programs, but particularly for the School of Business & Leadership. This position will demonstrate effective leadership in campus, local and national recruitment events and assist in the development and implementation of Regent University marketing, lead acquisition and recruitment strategies. What’s more, the Admissions Recruiter must have experience and acumen in dealing with people like CEOs, CFOs, business owners, organizational presidents and others in executive leadership roles.

The Admissions Recruiter will be responsible for functions that contribute to generating a greater number of qualified inquiries and converting those qualified inquiries to applicants and enrolled students. These functions include traveling to recruiting events (local, regional and national), conducting regular informational webinars, making daily outbound calls to potential students, responding to leads via email, conducting campus tours, and meeting with visitors that come to campus individually or in groups. A bachelor's degree is required, but a master’s degree is preferred. Candidate must have a proven track record with excellent customer service, a strong commitment to Christ, one-two years inside sales experience or previous college admissions experience, the ability to meet and exceed goals, excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, as well as strong oral and written communication skills. Additionally, this position must possess excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks and details, and the skills to be resourceful and take initiative in problem solving. Candidate must be able to travel and willing to work a varied schedule with flexible hours including evenings and some weekends.
