Senior Programmer / Analyst
Patrick Henry College, a private non-denominational Christian liberal arts college located in Purcellville, VA, is recruiting for an experienced Senior Level Programmer / Analyst. This individual will report to the Chief Information Officer. We are looking for a self-motivated, organized, detail oriented team player, who will work collaboratively with the other members of the IT department. This person will be responsible to review, analyze, architect, modify, and develop solutions to meet the business needs of the college as well as supporting and maintaining our existing applications. They will need to have experience functioning as a business analyst in order to architect integrated business solutions. Project management skills are a plus.
The ideal candidate will have five or more years of experience developing applications in IBM Lotus Notes (xPages) as well as PHP and ASP in a team based environment. Strong JAVASCRIPT, HTML5/6, CSS, Crystal Reports and XML/AJAX skills are required. The
ability to integrate applications with back end MS SQL databases is essential. You must have an excellent understanding of relational databases and be able to write SQL/T-SQL queries, stored procedures and triggers.
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server 2008+ experience is a plus.
Requirements include: Bachelor’s degree in a related area plus 5 or more years of experience. Higher Education experience is a plus.
